Dennerle No. E100 The large Amazon sword plant is perhaps the most popular plant in aquaristics. Its leaves are 3-6 cm wider than those of 'amazonicus' and the growth height of up to 60 cm makes this species appear even more dominant. Older bushes with sometimes more than 50 leaves are an imposing eye-catcher. However, the substrate must be at least 10 cm high, so that the root system can develop accordingly. In combination with Helanthium species (dwarf Chinodorus) beautiful South American underwater landscapes succeed.[1]
