Echinodorus Compactus has broad, lush green leaves with a graceful heart-shaped cut at the base, which grow at an angle so that a mature shrub reaches a height of 15 cm. As a rule, this variety is wider than it is tall. Suitable for the foreground and middle ground depending on the size of the aquarium.[1]
